Collaboration in etwinnig

#twinMOOC

Question 1
Have you ever involved the local community or an expert in one of your Project?
Not yet...from this year I'm active on etwinning. Do it in my future project

Question2
Can tecnology help to create a student driven enviorment?How?
The use of technology is fundamental, it is part of the competences of the 21st century ... it brings the students closer to the study of the stems and of all the other disciplines. It also helps children with learning difficulties (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, difficulty in attention ...)

Question 3
Collaboration is inevitable in PBL. What is your favorite heating activity?
I like to share ideas and collaborate to realize etwinning projects. The activities that I prefer are those laboratory, practical
Question 4
What are the pitfalls, the setbacks related to the implementation of PBL at school? have you ever tried it?Second, the important thing is to integrate the PBL into curricular activities, without losing sight of the curriculum objectives

Question 5
How do you motivate students to take the initiative?
Making them continuously participate in the activities

Question 6
What is your technique for dividing students into groups for a project: do you assign students to groups, are they mixed or homogeneous groups? Tell us what worked best!
Generally the groups are mixed and heterogeneous by skill. In this way they help each other and all collaborate in the success of the activity

Question7
How do you rate PBL? What are the common types of evaluation in your teaching environment? Are you free to evaluate in any way you choose or do you have to follow a rigorous test system?
In evaluating siamoleberi to choose, I take into account progress, participation, ideas and the final product. Use of valuation columns.

Innovation in the classroom and Project design

Quality label in Etwinning:

1. Innovation and creativity
2.Curricolar integration
3. Comunication and interaction among the partner school
4.collaboration among partner school
5.Use of tecnology
6. Result,impact and documentation

Project plan:

TITLE: CODING IN MY CLASSROOM

AGE: 11-13 years

DURATION: 2-2,5 mounth

ABSTRACT:   The project aims to stimulate critical thinking, computational thinking, to lead pupils to find solutions to simple problems and complex problems using solving algorithms

GOALS:

-enhance their communication skills and ICT skills

-Learn use web 2.o tools

- use block programming with scratch and code.org

-use computational thinking with coding unplugged (codyroby, pixel art…)

-They will share the experiences on twinspace in etwinnig

WORK PROCESS

-1 week the students will learn what coding and the computational epnipero is, what it means to program, smart and not smart objects

. 2 weeks will work on unplugged coding (codyroby, codyfeet, pixel art), divided into groups

-2 weeks will work on block programming, 20 hours quick course by code.org

2 weeks will work on scrath, learn its features, create postcards, animate characters

1 week will they will share the materials on twinspaces and learn new approaches from their etwinnin buddies

EVALUTATION: observation, kahoot, they will assess their work using the tool on twinspace by commentino and discussing

EXPECTED RESULTS:

-After the project the students will be able tofind solutions to simple problems;

-they will have improved the logical and critical thinking;

-they will be able to use block programming on different schemes;

-they will be able to use twinspace;

-they will have improved the English language,

- they will have shared experiences and learned from different cultures

Etwinning

For me etwinning is a great community of teachers from different nations who collaborate and employ innovative methodologies in learning ... they share ideas, projects, materials and open their mind to new experiences.

Actually I'm working on science project ang Math and STEM project.

in my etwinning projects I use technology a lot, they are always integrated into the curriculum and allow collaboration between teachers and students

Hello! Myself....

I am a maths and science teacher in Italy. I live in Campania, in a town in the province of Caserta. My students are 11-13 years old. I am an etwinner from this year active on the platform. I work on BPL and I would like to learn even more ... I am following several moocs on STEM, coding, BPL, .....

I'm following course OPEN ETWINNIG...TEACHER ACADEMY
This is my portfolio for this course.

Observation:in my teaching practice I always try to connect mathematics to reality, but it is not always easy because not all students love it.
For example:
